Cancellation Policy
Your appointments are very important to the Forest Fair’s Hair & Beauty team members. The time is reserved especially for you! We fully understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and guests on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed at least 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked 6 to–8 weeks earlier. We send you an SMS with your appointment details, please check and reply Y or call the salon to reschedule as soon as possible once received.
Forest Fair’s Hair & Beauty reserves all right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments within the 24Hr period before the allocated appointment. This will only be actioned if you fail to reply to your SMS, and fail to answer our follow-up call/s.
If you turn up to an unconfirmed appointment the Forest Fair’s Hair & Beauty team will do everything they can to accommodate you. However, you may need to reschedule your appointment to another time or even another day.
Forest Fair’s Hair & Beauty feel this cancellation policy allows us the time to inform any guests on the Waiting List of the sudden availability, as well as keeping our Forest Fair’s Hair & Beauty team members schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. Debbie is happy to work with all our guests in relation to this policy and are more than happy to discuss further if required.

Refund Returns Policy Service
We want you to be 100% happy with your hair. Your feedback to us is important.
Forest Lake Hair & Beauty takes hairdressing extremely seriously. You are in good hands. Our artists are professionally trained in all areas including colouring chemical science colour correctional work, cutting, Hair Extensions, Keratein Smoothing products and more. We never want any of our guests to be unhappy with their service and will do everything we can to make whatever you are unhappy with right.
If for some reason we haven’t got the colour, cut or any other service to what your and our expectation is, we want to know and we want to fix this. Please contact Forest Lake Hair & Beaut and ask to speak with the manager. Alternatively, fill out a Contact Us form and we will be in contact with you shortly.
We are always happy to refund if we haven’t been able to correct the problem for any reason. However, we need to be given this opportunity first.
Not 100% Happy with your hair? …
- Contact the manager or send a Contact Us form.
- Come into the salon and we will assess and correct to exactly your expectation.
- If we cannot do this, we will offer a refund on the service that wasn’t to your expectation.

Refund Policy Retail
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Additional non-returnable items:
Gift Certificates
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted(if applicable:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts
Gift Certificates can not be refunded or exchanged unless the Owner has authorised it.
Promotions
Campaigns and Exclusive vouchers can not be cross promoted Vouchers and gift certificates that are apart of a promotion are valid for 3 months only and can not be used on current or future campaigns.
Voucher Terms and Conditions

“Voucher” means a voucher that must be presented instore to redeem a specified discount or benefit.

Vouchers (“Vouchers”) are subject to (a) the specific terms and conditions stated on the Voucher; and (b) these general Voucher terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the former prevails.

Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

Must be redeemed within the validity period.

Must be used in one transaction. May only be redeemed once, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Not redeemable on gift sets, other sets, limited edition items or sale unless expressly stated otherwise.

Cannot be applied to previously placed orders or products not in stock at the time of purchase. No rainchecks.

If no expiry date is stated on the Voucher, Vouchers will expire 3 months from the date of issue.

Voucher must be surrendered in store upon redemption.

If purchase exceeds the Voucher amount, the balance must be paid by other available payment options.

Expired Vouchers are not redeemable and voucher amounts will not be refunded or credited when expired.

Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Vouchers will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
